Our Franciscan expression embraces the charism of both Francis and Clare, weaving together contemplative and active service.

Gathered together as a community in Sacramento, California, we find expression in varied states of life– women and men called to be celibate, those with spouses, partners, families and those who are single but not called to the celibate life.  We are moving toward the option of a communal life, adapted as needed for our particular situation.

We are a Sacramental community centered around the Eucharist, and as our name indicates, we are ecumenical in nature– inviting all those who hear the call to live a life in the Franciscan-Clarian spirit.

We meet regularly for prayer and study and invite you to join us.  Please contact us for more information.
