a native Chicagoan, was a professed member of the Passionist Community for twelve years.  Ordination as a worker-priest for the Orthodox Church occurred upon completion of studies on 14 June 1987 at the age of 44.  Some of Fr. Bob’s varied ministry before becoming an Associate Pastor of Good Shepherd Parish has included: religious education for grammar school children; provided for the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of persons with HIV-AIDS; served as an associate retreat house director; acted as a “conduit” of financial assistance for people in need.  In addition to serving at Good Shepherd, Fr. Bob guides the local Grey Robed Benedictine Community as Abbot.
