is a mother and grandmother. She has a BA in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Social Work. She has been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor since 2000. She has spent more than twenty years working with men and women who were homeless, using substances and suffering from mental illness. Currently she works as an administrator managing residential and outpatient prenatal substance abuse programs for Sacramento County. She also has a private psychotherapy practice and volunteers with the American Red Cross. Elizabeth feels grateful that God has allowed her to follow her calling as a priest in the Independent Catholic faith. She was ordained as a Deacon on September 16th, 2007 and a priest in January 2008. Elizabeth is supported in following her calling by her two children and her loving partner, Diane Uebelhart.
