Ann is a third generation San Franciscan and attended Star of the Sea Academy.  Ann earned a Political Science and Economics BA from UC San Diego and then moved to Sacramento to work for the Legislative Analyst Office and later the State Dept. of Toxic Substances Control.  In 2004, she completed a masters degree in Pastoral Studies from Loyola University in New Orleans.  Ann is also a member of Call to Action, a national organization seeking reform and justice in the Roman Catholic Church and, since 2003, participates in a CTA Small Faith Community in Elk Grove.  Ann joined the Good Shepherd Community in 2009.
