Loaves and Fishes Needs
Loaves and Fishes is collecting stocking caps, socks and gloves, shampoo, soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, to give to the homeless guests at The Village and Friendship Park. If you belong to a group or organization, please pass this on to them. Might also be a good project for community service hours for high school students. Donations can be dropped off at the Parish or email/call the parish for other arrangements.
Independent Catholicism - A Wonderful Way of Being Catholic!
Do you have questions about Independent Catholicism? The Mass? What we believe? Have you wondered why we do the things we do? Let us know! Over the next few weeks we are asking for your questions and will be addressing them, and more, in the next few months. Send your questions to Fr. Tony at tony@GoodShepherdCommunity.org
|Total Month To Date:
Jan 04: $355
Jan 11: $
Jan 18: $
Jan 25: $
We do not take up a collection during Mass. Rather, we rely on the faith giving of those who attend and on the generosity of those who share our mission to contribute as they are able.

St. Michael's LGBTQ Ministry
Our sister parish, St. Michael's in Rocklin, has just launched their LGBTQ Ministry. This ministry was created to support and affirm the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans-sexual, and Queer community in the Rocklin/Roseville/Lincoln/Auburn area.
The goal is to provide a safe space for the LGBTQ community and their families to explore and grow in spiritual identity. Guided by the principles of affirmation and support, services will include spiritual direction and guidance, resources and referrals, and parental support.
More information about this important and needed ministry can be found on their website at www.stmichaelsrocklin.org/ministries/lgbtq. If you would like to participate, please contact Denise Johnston, Carl Schooss, or Fr. Luis via St. Michael’s website. If you wish to make a donation, address your check to St. Michael’s Church—LGBTQ Ministry. Donations will help defer printing costs and other critical needs.
