Parish Council Meetings:
We will hold our Parish Annual Meting on the second Sunday of January, January 14, 2018. The Parish Council is scheduled to meet Quarterly on April 8, 2018 , July 8, 2018, October 14, 2018. All meetings will be held immediately after Mass at Sierra 2 Community Center. All Parish members are encouraged to attend.
Parish Meeting and Parish Community Meal:
The monthly Parish Meeting and Community Meal is held on the third Sunday of each month after the 10:00 am mass.
Anointing during Mass is offered on the last Sunday of each month.
Call Parish or one of the Clergy for appointment. We will have Communal Reconciliation at Mass during Advent and Lent.
Strategic Planning Meeting 2017:
All Parish members are encouraged to attend this important meeting to start looking at our Mission Statement and our Goals for the coming year. It will be held on February 4, 2017, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at 6701 63rd Street, Sacramento, CA, 95828, Capital Estates Clubhouse. The meeting is for the parish to set goals for 2017, how goals will be incorporated and who will be responsible for heading any action plan committees.
Loaves and Fishes Ministry:
Members of Good Shepherd Parish assist serving lunch at Loaves and Fishes the first Sunday at each month. They leave Mass early to participate in this important ministry. We currently do no have volunteers participating. If you are interested, please talk to Mother Elizabeth.

Loaves and Fishes
If you are interested in serving at Loaves and Fishes with the Good Shepherd Community on the first Sunday of each month, contact Joanne Crandall-Bear. Francis House is in need of the following items: toothbrushes, shampoo, conditioner, disposable razors, and deodorant, winter gloves and scarves. There is a collection box in the vestibule of the Church (just a note that the Dollar Store has great deals on these types of things).
