Greeting/Opening Prayer Sign of the Cross: In the name of God, our Compassionate Creator; Jesus, our Redeemer; and the Holy Spirit, our Comforter. AMEN.
We gather this Holy Thursday evening, as God’s children, living in a bewildering, mysterious time. We are united in our intention to pray this Luminous Rosary most especially for those directly affected by the CO-VID 19 pandemic. We pray for the souls of those who have passed away. We pray for those who have been diagnosed, hospitalized, and are receiving medical treatment. We pray for the medical professionals, technicians, care givers, all who provide healing services to the sick. We pray for those who work and volunteer to service the greater community: our first responders, EMTs, police officers, firefighters, paramedics, and others. We pray for all those who produce, manufacture, cook, and sell our needed food and supplies. We pray for the health and safety of our youth, and their educators. We pray for our families as we shelter in place and implement physical (social) distancing. We pray for all humanity.
Abundantly Loving God, we place our trust in You, as we join together this evening to pray the Luminous Mysteries of the Holy Rosary. United with Blessed Holy Mary Mother of Compassion, the Holy Spirit, and our Savior Jesus, we pray these Mysteries of Light. May we recognize the Hope of Light and Love in You, Mary, Jesus, and in each other. AMEN.
